Never above you. Never below you. Always beside you. -Walter Winchell

I am not your superior, I am a supporter. I am here to help you get the experience you deserve.

I want all birthing persons to feel confident and empowered by their birth story and the transition bringing baby home. Regardless of your race, gender identity, religion, etc. I want you to feel powerful and confident in your body and mind. There is a lot that goes into pregnancy, birth, and babyhood; my goal is to empower you to ask me and other caregivers around you all the questions you may have, so that you can make the best informed decision for you and your growing family.

A little about me:

My name is Andreya Fernandes. I am a VCU alumni with a Bachelors in Psychology. I am a DONA-trained birth doula, CAPPA-trained postpartum doula, and a professional Nanny with many years experience of all ages (newborn-12yrs). I strive to make you as comfortable as possible during pregnancy and labor, as well as help you with the transition into parenthood or adding another baby to the family.

I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and moved back to live in Boston in January 2024. I love to spend my free time with friends and family. We enjoy finding live music, trivia nights, hikes, and trying new restaurants. While I do enjoy new experiences and adventures, some days are best spent watching movies, new shows, or getting crafty. I look forward to learning more about you at our consultation! Talk to you soon! <3
